Jacksonville Sea and Sky Air Show at Risk: Will the Blue Angels Fly on October 25-26?

Source: Jacksonville.gov

The Jacksonville Beach Sea and Sky Air Show, set for October 25-26, 2025, may lose its main draw, the U.S. Navy Blue Angels, due to the ongoing federal government shutdown. City organizers say the pilots can’t fly until resolved, similar to recent air show cancellations elsewhere. “The Blue Angels are why we go,” said local Jack Sherrod, reflecting fans’ excitement since the event’s 2023 return.

But here’s the good news:

The show will still offer ground displays and civilian acts. And it’s free to attend! But without the Blue Angels’ thrilling formations, it won’t be the same. Check jaxbeachairshow.com for updates; fingers crossed for a swift resolution!
